🔥 PRESS GUIDE (Updated for 2025)

Before You Press:

  • Temp: 290°F

  • If using a thin silicone mat, increase +15°F to +20°F (max 335°F)

  • Pre-press garment 3–5 sec

  • Position transfer ink side down / film side up

1️⃣ FIRST PRESS – 12 Seconds

  • 290°F | Medium–firm pressure

  • Cover with parchment or Teflon

  • Press 12 sec

  • ⚡ Hot Peel — peel immediately, low and smooth

  • If an edge lifts, re-press 3–5 sec

2️⃣ SECOND PRESS – 5 Seconds (Very Important)

  • Same temp (290°F or adjusted)

  • Cover with old shirt, parchment, or thin silicone mat

  • Press 5 sec to improve durability + wash life

🧼 Wash & Care

  • Wait 24 hrs before washing

  • Wash cold, inside-out, gentle

  • Hang dry or tumble low

  • Do not iron directly on print

🚨 Troubleshooting

  • Edges lifting → re-press 3–5 sec

  • Shiny finish → use parchment or shirt for second press

  • Not bonding → temp too low OR silicone mat needs +15–20°F increase

Peeling problem

Followed the directions exactly and it still had problem peeling after pressing. I was pressing it to a hoodie and when I started pulling the film off while still hot it started pulling up the design with it. Repressed for 10 more seconds and same problem. Repressed again for 5-7 seconds and still issue. Finally got it but took almost 2 minutes of pressing.

Thank you for the feedback. Our transfers are hot peel at 290°F with medium-firm pressure for 12 seconds, as outlined in the instructions.
When lifting occurs, it is typically related to heat consistency, pressure, garment thickness, or environmental factors such as pressing in a colder workspace. Hoodies in particular can absorb heat quickly, which can temporarily lower platen surface temperature during the first press.
Once sufficient heat and pressure are reached, the adhesive activates fully, which is why it bonded after additional pressing. We’re always happy to help troubleshoot to ensure smooth application. Please feel free to reach out directly.
